• Brakes, suspension & steering — Visual and basic checks for wear, leaks, and anything that looks unsafe or near end of life.
• Safety & under the hood — Lights, tires, wipers, fluids, belts, battery, and obvious leaks or red flags worth asking the seller about.
• OBD-II scan — Current codes, readiness monitors, and plain-language takeaways—including whether things look recently reset before a sale.

• On-site walkthrough — Ask anything while we’re there; we start with safety and big-ticket items.
